Little Big Movement

This year, BNP Paribas celebrates 30 years of financing and services to MFIs. The Group, in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, is one of the most active banks in this sector.

In three decades, the Group’s support to microfinance has reached 900 million euros (amount of authorizations). Today, the number of borrowers indirectly financed by BNP Paribas is 2.2 million, of whom there are no fewer than 1.8 million women worldwide.

To pay tribute to these women, BNP Paribas has launched the project “Little Big Movement”, which aims to describe the journey and stories of these women micro-entrepreneurs. PerMicro, whose industrial partner is BNL BNP Paribas, is proud of having contributed to the reduction of poverty and inequality by delivering microcredits in Italy since its foundation in 2007.

Take a look at Cristina‘s business, one of PerMicro’s customers in Rome: her personal and professional story, her tone of voice and her final sentence, will conquer you!
